A driver who committed 152 traffic violations since year beginning detained in Namangan
In the city of Namangan, a car with 152 violations was detected over the course of 3 months, the press service of the Regional Traffic Safety Department reports.
On March 31, 2023, at 23:30, on Islam Karimov Street, Davlatabad district (Namangan city), a Hyundai Sonata car with the registration plate 01 T 234 ZA was stopped by traffic inspectors. Its driver was demanded to show the driver’s license and vehicle documents.
The driver said that the car did not belong to him and could not provide any documents. After that, the vehicle is placed in the penalty area for temporary storage.
During the investigation of this case, it was found that there is no vehicle registration certificate, and the vehicle registration plate 01 T 234 ZA was not registered with the Traffic Safety Department.
When investigating the administrative violations committed by this vehicle belonging to a citizen (born in 1990), living in the Chust district, it was found that the driver committed a total of 152 traffic violations until this time of 2023, and the resulting fine amounted to 410 million soums.
However, due to the fact that the information about the vehicle registration plate is not available in the system, it was impossible to impose fines for the committed violations.
Currently, an investigation into the case is ongoing.
