“My road” project launched, submitting a proposal for repair of internal roads becomes permissible 

The Ministry of Economy and Finance reported on the Open Budget information portal that the current season of the “Mening yulim” project started on April 17.

It is planned to allocate more than 312 billion soums for the current season of the project.

The process of submitting proposals within the framework of the project will last until April 27 of this year. Voting for the submitted proposals will take place from April 28 to May 7.

What is required to submit a proposal on the project?

1. Log in to the Open Budget portal;
2. Enter your personal account by clicking the “Log in” button on the right; 
3. Click the “Add” button and select the “Mening yulim” section;
4. Select your region, district/city, mahalla and street to which your proposal relates;
5. You can also upload a photo of the proposed road;
6. Click the “Add” button.

In this regard, the Ministry of Economy and Finance published a video instruction.

The “Mening yulim” project was created to ensure that at least 50% of the funds planned for the repair of internal roads in the district (city) budgets are directed taking into account the opinion of citizens.

It should be recalled that, in accordance with the presidential decree, the volume of funding for projects financed on the basis of the population’s wishes has been sharply increased in 2023, reaching 8 trillion soums. In addition, compared to last year, funds for the “Mening yulim” project have been doubled.
