Uzbekistan delegation takes part in XI Meeting of department heads of SCO member states involved in preventing and eliminating emergencies in Delhi

Uzbekistan was represented by a delegation headed by the Minister of Emergency Situations Abdulla Kuldoshev.

According to the SCO Secretariat, during the meeting, the heads of delegations made presentations on emergencies that occurred in the SCO member states over the past period, and also exchanged views on the prospects for further cooperation in the field of preventing and eliminating emergencies within the SCO.

The general intention was stated to further strengthen cooperation in the field of emergency preparedness, prompt response to them and joint mitigation of the consequences of natural and man-made disasters, exchange of experience in the field of prevention and elimination of emergency situations.

The parties approved the Plan of joint actions for implementing the agreement between the governments of the SCO member states on cooperation in providing assistance in the elimination of emergencies for 2023-2025.
