Today, April 27, Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure of the United Arab Emirates, Suhail Al Mazroui, on the sidelines of the Tashkent Forum.
As the presidential press service reported, during the meeting, issues of promoting the projects of the Uzbek-Emirati multifaceted cooperation were considered.
“At the beginning of the talks, Minister Al Mazroui conveyed to the head of our state the sincere greetings of President Sheikh Muhammad Al Nahyan and Vice President, Prime Minister of the country, Emir of Dubai Sheikh Muhammad Al Maktoum. The current high dynamics of the development of bilateral relations was noted with deep satisfaction.
According to the press service, over the past few years, trade has doubled, 50 new enterprises have been created, and the portfolio of investment projects has exceeded $3 billion. The joint investment company is successfully operating.
In order to prepare the upcoming high-level meetings and fill their agenda with specific content, Mirziyoyev called for the promotion of promising projects in the field of the green economy, energy, transport and logistics, agriculture, infrastructure and other priority areas.
