Criminal group that slaughtered a citizen’s sheep and left a threatening letter to him detained in Samarkand
The members of the criminal group slaughtered 6 sheep at night, stole 3 of them and left a threatening letter to the owner. Earlier, Kun.uz conducted an inquiry regarding this situation and the sheep owner said that the threat could be for a land plot.
The members of the criminal group who slaughtered a citizen’s sheep and left a threatening letter at the scene of the incident were arrested by officers of the Criminal Investigation Service of the Samarkand regional DIA, Kun.uz reported with reference to the MIA press service.
It is noted that on April 23, a citizen living in Samarkand district contacted the DIA, informed about the situation and asked to identify the criminals, take legal action against them and compensate for the damage. The scene of the incident was examined by a rapid investigation team, a letter with threatening words was documented as evidence, and a forensic examination was appointed.
On the above fact, a criminal case has been initiated under Paragraph “g”, Article 169-2 (theft) of the Criminal Code. As a result of the rapid search, the perpetrators were identified. Allegedly, 3 people went to the sheepfold on the night of the incident, slaughtered 6 sheep and loaded 3 of them into a Nexia car. One of the 3 sheep was slaughtered and the remaining 2 heads were kept in the burglar’s house.
Currently, investigations are being continued and measures are being taken to find the criminal group organizer.
