Military servicemen of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan conduct joint exercises
The Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan stated that the armed conflicts and military clashes taking place today in various regions of the world are a threat to the peace and stability of many countries, and the fact that “they are also occurring near our region encourages us to further strengthen and develop our cooperation in the military sphere”.
According to the Defense Ministry, at the opening ceremony of the exercises, the commander of the Tashkent military district, Colonel Zokir Saifudinov, spoke. He noted that the establishment of such close cooperation between the two countries in the military sphere is of great importance in ensuring security and stability in the region.
The Ministry of Defense also noted that these joint exercises will serve to exchange experience, consolidate knowledge and skills, strengthen mutual friendship and understanding between Uzbek and Kazakh military personnel.
“Joint special tactical exercises are another example of friendly relations between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, which have long-standing historical ties of cooperation in many areas, including in the military sphere,” the conclusion says.
