MIA comments on reports of a mass brawl at World Boxing Championship
Social networks spread information that a mass brawl took place in Tashkent at the World Boxing Championship.
According to the MIA press secretary Shokhrukh Giyasov, the information about the mass brawl at the World Boxing Championship, distributed on social networks, is not true.
According to him, on May 13, at the end of the next day of the World Cup, during the ceremony of distributing leather gloves, arranged by the organizers, the fans violated the order, not giving way to each other.
“The event organizers restored order as soon as possible, no violation of public order was allowed,” Shokhrukh Giyasov said.
IT should be recalled that the boxing team of Uzbekistan brought the number of gold medals to 5 and updated the best result in the history of world championships. At the tournament in Tashkent, the team took first place with a total of 9 medals.
