People who tried to sell about 1 kg of drugs for $13,000 detained in Fergana 

The suspects were caught trying to flee from law enforcement officers.

A quick event was held in cooperation with the anti-smuggling department of the customs department of Fergana region and employees of the Regional SSS.

During the operative event, in front of the commercial stores located in the center of the Altiarik district of the region, three citizens, having arranged a criminal conspiracy with each other in advance, tried to transfer a large amount of drugs to a "conditional buyer" for $13,000. The illegal activity was interrupted by the event participants.

According to the expert’s report, it was 1 package of hashish narcotic substances weighing 789 grams, the Fergana Regional Customs Department informed UzNews.uz about this.

Currently, a criminal case has been opened in accordance with Article 273-5 of the Criminal Code. Currently, preliminary investigations are being carried out.
