Shavkat Mirziyoyev may take part in EAEU meeting via videoconferencing
For the first time, the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will attend the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council (EAEC) as a guest, and the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev as well as the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon will join the event remotely, through videoconference.

This was announced to journalists by Dmitry Peskov, the spokesperson for the President of Russia.
According to him, Russian President Vladimir Putin will chair a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council on Thursday, together with other leaders of the EAEU member countries who arrived in Moscow. The meeting will consider a number of important issues.
“I should note that today the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, will take part in the meeting for the first time as a guest. Also, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon will join via video link,” Peskov said.
