A draft presidential decree “On additional measures to increase the capacity of the electric power industry of the Khorezm region, provide the population and sectors of the economy with energy resources” was published.
Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade in cooperation with Nidro Enerji Elektrik Uretim Sanayi A.Ş. (Türkiye) plans to implement an investment project for the construction of a gas piston power plant with a capacity of 174 MW in the Khorezm region.
To implement the investment project, the investor established Odaş Enerji SA LLC (project company).
The administration of Khorezm region allocated a land plot to the State Assets Management Agency on the rights of permanent use in accordance with the conditions specified in the investment agreement and the agreement on the purchase of electricity.
The State Assets Management Agency will ensure the conclusion of a direct lease agreement for 7 hectares of land allocated by the Khorezm regional administration for a period of 25 years at a zero rate for the implementation of an investment project with Odaş Enerji SA LLC.
The State Assets Management Agency is exempted from collecting funds intended for the development of new lands equal in value to 4.7 hectares of irrigated arable land, allocated to the agency in the Fund for the Development of Agriculture and Food under the Ministry of Agriculture.
