15 agreements signed during presidential visit to Iran
Documents aimed at further development of comprehensive cooperation between Uzbekistan and Iran were adopted.

After the high-level negotiations, a signing ceremony of bilateral documents took place.
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ebrahim Raisi signed a joint statement on strengthening cooperation between the two countries.

In addition, 15 documents were adopted at the level of governments, agencies and regions within the framework of the visit.
These include the Agreement on Preferential Trade between Governments, the Cooperation Program between the Technical Regulatory Agency of Uzbekistan and the National Standards Organization of Iran, and the Action Plan for Cooperation in the Field of Technologies and Innovations.

Memorandums were adopted on the establishment of joint free economic zones, cooperation in the fields of pharmaceuticals, transport and transit.
Also, a plan of joint measures on cooperation in the field of sports, a memorandum of understanding on dispute resolution and arbitration, an optional agreement on cooperation in the field of reinsurance and other documents were signed.
