Uzbek man tries to illegally cross the Nepalese-Indian border
The Indian media disseminated information about a citizen of Uzbekistan who was detained while trying to illegally enter this country in the Sitamarhi district of the Indian state of Bihar from Nepal.
According to Dunyo, the man, who introduced himself as an Uzbek citizen, was not in possession of a valid passport or other identification documents.
“The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Delhi is taking prompt measures to clarify this situation. To this end, contact has been established with the relevant departments of India, the situation has been taken under control,” the report reads.
Diplomats urge compatriots before traveling to India not to succumb to the false promises of various dubious groups or individuals, and also to strictly comply with the requirements of local legislation when entering and staying in this country.

According to Indian media reports, since the beginning of the year, at least 35 citizens from more than 10 countries have been detained while trying to illegally cross the Nepalese-Indian border.
