UNDP to allocate more than $830,000 in grants to Uzbekistan
Funds will be used to repay up to 30 percent of Green Consumer Loans allocated by the fund's partner banks.

An agreement was signed between the Inter-Network Energy Saving Fund under the Ministry of Energy and the representative office of the United Nations Development Program in Uzbekistan.
The agreement includes the attraction of grant funds in the amount of $833,000. These funds will be used to repay up to 30 percent of Green Consumer Loans allocated by the fund's partner banks for the purchase of renewable energy sources and energy-efficient devices.
In order to support the purchase of renewable energy sources devices among women, it is decided to cover up to 37.5 percent of the Green Consumer Loans allocated to women at the expense of grant funds.
