A group of citizens working in the city of Cheboksary appealed to the representative office of the Foreign Labor Migration Agency in Nizhny Novgorod because the employer did not give them a monthly salary and a passport, and evicted them from the hostel where they lived.
As it turned out, the citizens trusted the information on social networks and went to the city of Cheboksary, Chuvashia Republic to work at the bread and confectionery production workshop.
The employer took the citizens’ passports for processing documents and exploited them for several months without payment. He did not return the documents and fled to an unknown place.
With the efforts of the representative office of the Foreign Labor Migration Agency, the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Kazan, and representatives of the Uzbek diaspora, citizens were accommodated in a hostel and provided with hot food.
A group of citizens was issued a return certificate by the Consulate General. 12 citizens were returned by the agency on a Kazan-Tashkent flight.
