Citizens who paid money for new apartments and became victims of fraud meet with PM Aripov

Citizens, who bought houses planned to be built on Izzat street, Yashnabad district, Tashkent city, gathered in front of the government building.
The Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov personally talked with them. He was accompanied by Tashkent city prosecutor Erkin Yuldoshev.
One of the citizens who contacted Kun.uz said that the PM said that a decision will be made by July 24 of this year, and that all the more than 600 apartments transferred to the bank account will be returned to their owners.
It was noted that soon all measures will be taken to please the population.
Earlier, a group of citizens who signed a contract with "AZIYA INVEST FAVORIT" LLC on the purchase of one of the houses planned to be built on Izzat Street, Yashnabad District, Tashkent city, appealed to Kun.uz and complained that despite the passage of more than a year and a half, the construction work has not yet started.
They said that the head of the LLC was imprisoned, and the employees who came to demand the return of their money were told that the company was closed. The damage suffered by citizens amounts to more than 300 billion soums.
A government commission was formed under the chairmanship of Deputy PM Achilbay Ramatov on this issue. This commission was assigned the task of completing the research work by July 20 and submitting relevant conclusions and reasonable proposals to the Cabinet of Ministers.
