Judging by the video circulating on social networks, there are huge queues at gas stations in Surkhandarya and Namangan regions.
The Ministry of Energy commented on this incident, saying that gas is supplied to methane gas stations in accordance with the established demand.
“All methane gas stations in the Namangan region were supplied with natural gas in full according to the established limit. The video from social networks shows the situation with the use of this monthly limit,” the report reads.
It is noted that today from 00:00 a new month will begin and gas supplies to gas stations will be established.
Reportedly, the cost per cubic meter of gas sold at gas stations has not increased.
The Ministry of Energy called on citizens who witnessed an unreasonable increase in gas prices at gas stations to report it by calling the hotline of the Committee for Development of Competition and Consumer Rights Protection at 1159.
