Media: Prosecutor of Tashkent region removed from office

The prosecutor of the Tashkent region Shavkatjon Rakhimov has been relieved of his post, a source in the administration told Kun.uz.

Reportedly, his first deputy, Abdulkhamid Kamilov, was also fired last week.

It should be reminded that Shavkatjon Rakhimov, Senior Counselor of Justice, was appointed prosecutor of the Tashkent region in September 2022.

Prior to that, he was a Deputy Prosecutor General for more than two years.
