First deputy governor of Tashkent region and a number of officials dismissed
Muzaffar Fayziyev, the first deputy governor of Tashkent region, was fired. Governors of Kibray and Yangiyul districts lost their jobs. Two deputies of the regional governor were reprimanded.
This became known at a videoconference meeting held as part of the President’s visit to the region.
It was noted at the meeting that in the six months of this year, exports worth $440 million were carried out in the region. Over the past three years, the volume of industry in the region has increased by 19% and reached 94 trillion soums. But over this period, industrial production in the Bekabad district decreased by 3.6%, while in the Parkent district it increased only by 2.6%.
Over the past three years, the share of the Zangiota district in the industry of the region has decreased from 8.3% to 3.5%, and Angren – from 7.5% to 4.8%.
Although the volume of services in the region for six months of this year increased by 7.3%, in Kibray and Yangiyul districts, this figure does not even reach 1%.
Only 9 out of 114 high-rise buildings planned for construction this year have been commissioned.
For shortcomings in their work, the first deputy governor of Tashkent region Muzaffar Fayziyev, governors of Kibray and Yangiyul districts Miragzam Mirkosimov and Ulugbek Yalgashev were dismissed.
Two deputies of the regional governor, N. Sharipov and Sh. Makhmudov, were reprimanded.
