Mirziyoyev holds talks with Berdimuhamedov in Ashgabat

According to the presidential press service, at the meeting, the parties discussed topical issues on the bilateral agenda.

“The dynamic development of the Uzbek-Turkmen multifaceted relations and the consistent deepening of the strategic partnership between the two countries were noted with satisfaction,” the report says.

The expansion of practical cooperation in the areas of trade, industry, energy, agriculture and water management, transport and other priority areas was emphasized.

The sides also exchanged views on issues of regional cooperation and considered the schedule of upcoming events.
