A Chinese company will open a logistics hub in a free economic zone (FEZ) in the Navoi region, the press service of the regional administration reports.
As part of his visit to China, the governor of Navoi region Normat Tursunov visited the Chongqing International Logistics Hub Park and the control center for the import of cars and imported meat products Chongqing Railway Port.
Following the meeting, Chongqing International Logistics Hub Park and Navoi FEZ agreed to open a logistics hub in Navoi region.
Also, the governor Tursunov discussed with the mayor of the Chinese city of Chongqing Hu Henghua the issue of creating a joint free economic zone "Navoi-Chongqing" in the chemical, electrical, building materials production and logistics sectors in the Navoi region.
In addition, a memorandum was signed between the two regions on establishing partnerships and developing cooperation.
