Body of a 10-year-old boy found on shore of Qoradaryo in Andijan

Earlier, there were reports on social networks that a young boy had drowned in the Qoradarya river. The Andijan regional emergency department provided information on the case.

On August 13, 2023, at 17:53, a person born in 1984 in Oltinkul district contacted the DIA short number “102” and reported that the body of a 10-year-old boy was found in the Qoradaryo river flowing through the territory of Oltinkul district.

As a result of the investigation based on the report, the body was identified as T.A., born in 2012, who lived on the upper street of “Ors” mahalla, Oltinkul district. The body of the deceased was sent for forensic examination.

“The duty dispatching service of the Regional Emergency Department has not received a report about drowning,” the report reads.
