Senate to convene for next plenary session on August 24
At the upcoming 44th plenary session, senators will discuss changes aimed at improving currency regulation and lease relations, as well as laws on plant protection, subsoil and others.

On Tuesday, the Council of the Senate of Oliy Majlis adopted a resolution to convene the 44th plenary session of the Senate on August 24.
A number of laws and issues will be discussed at the plenary session, which will be held in the form of videoconferencing.
In particular, the laws “On plant protection”, “On introducing additions and amendments to certain legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan aimed at improving currency regulation, rental and leasing relations”, “On introducing amendments and additions to certain legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan aimed at raising public awareness about the activities of health authorities” and “On subsoil”.
It is also planned to discuss the results of studying the implementation of programs for the socio-economic development of the territories of the Surkhandarya and Khorezm regions.
