Around 3.7 million tourists visited Uzbekistan over the past seven months – Statistics Agency

Mainly citizens of neighboring republics visited Uzbekistan during the reporting period.

In January-July 2023, around 3.7 million foreign nationals visited Uzbekistan for tourist purposes.

According to the Statistics Agency, citizens of the following countries visited the republic the most over the past seven months:

- Tajikistan - 1.1 million people
- Kyrgyzstan - 912.8 thousand people
- Kazakhstan - 879 thousand people
- Russia - 417.4 thousand people
- Turkiye - 58 thousand people
- Turkmenistan - 39.6 thousand people
- South Korea - 20.2 thousand people
- India - 20 thousand people
- China - 17.7 thousand people
- Germany - 14.1 thousand people
