More than 4.3 million foreign nationals visited Uzbekistan for tourist purposes over eight months

According to the Statistics Agency, more than 4.3 million foreign citizens visited Uzbekistan for tourist purposes over the past eight months of the year.

The travel goals of foreign citizens who came to Uzbekistan during the reporting period:
 
- visiting relatives – 3.7 million people
- recreation – 467 thousand people
- work – 87 thousand people
- treatment – 41 thousand people
- business – 37 thousand people
- study – 7.1 thousand people
