Fergana police officer who kicked a woman in broad daylight dismissed
The regional police department noted that the woman who was begging on the road “actively resisted and tried to throw the child in her hand to the ground.” Then, the police officer kicked the woman while forcing her to sit in the car.
In the Fergana region, the results of an internal inspection were announced against police officers who were excessively rude when forcibly placing a woman in a service car. According to the regional police department, the employee who was rude to the woman has been dismissed from his position.
It is noted that the incident occurred on September 18, when police officers were on duty at the intersection of Islam Karimov and Kuvasay streets in the city of Fergana.
“Since the woman was begging on the roadway, she was asked to leave and they intended to have a preventive conversation with her. However, the woman became angry and actively resisted. She was detained by police officers while trying to throw a small child on the ground when they wanted to take her to the police station,” the police department said in a statement.
An internal investigation was conducted into this case and the police officer who “committed inappropriate actions without observing professional work etiquette and ethics” was fired.
All personnel of the regional police department have been strictly warned about the inadmissibility of committing such actions.
