Uzbekistan, Russia agree on arrangement of cargo transportation along Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan-Caspian Sea-Russia corridor
As part of the official visit of the head of our state to Russia on October 5-7, the Minister of Transport of Uzbekistan Ilkhom Makhkamov held a bilateral meeting with the Minister of Transport of Russia Vitaly Savelyev.

According to the Uzbek Ministry of Transport, prospects for the development of mutual cooperation in the transport sector were discussed at the meeting.
The parties agreed to increase the volume of cargo transportation by road and rail, joint development of international transport corridors, including the organization of cargo transportation between the two countries along the alternative corridor Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan-Caspian Sea-Russia, further expansion of cooperation in the field of digitalization of the transport sector and exchange of experience in this direction.
A new agreement was also reached to increase the number of regular flights on contractual routes Tashkent-Moscow.
