Kashkadarya man sentenced to 3-year imprisonment for illegally using potable water during 13 years
In Kashkadarya, a man was arbitrarily connected to the main pipeline and irrigated crops with drinking water.

On October 4, in the Kashkadarya region, the Nishan district court on criminal proceedings considered a criminal case against a resident of the village of Balkhiyak, citizen O.A.
It turned out that the defendant founded a farm in 2010. He was illegally connected to the Talimarjon-Mubarak main pipeline and irrigated the crops with drinking water.
During a raid conducted by employees of “Kashkadarya Suv Taminoti” LLC, his illegal activities were exposed. The amount of damage amounted to 282,716,280 soums.
Having studied the collected documents and testimony of the parties, the court found O.A. guilty and sentenced him to 3 years in prison. He is also required to pay 282,716,280 soums as compensation for damage.
