President Mirziyoyev receives ex-Qatari PM
On November 7, Shavkat Mirziyoyev received former Prime Minister of Qatar, founder of a number of large investment and industrial holdings in the country, Hamad bin Jassim Al Thani.

The Qatari delegation arrived in our country to develop agreements at the highest level. Issues regarding the implementation of promising investment projects in Uzbekistan were considered.
They include the construction of a modern hotel complex in the city of Bukhara, a large logistics center, a shopping and residential complex in the city of Tashkent, the creation of high-speed road and railway infrastructure, the modernization of airports, as well as projects in the fields of energy, metallurgy, textile industry, livestock farming, and production of building materials and others.
Plans to create a joint fund to financially support the above projects were also discussed.
Projects will be implemented on the basis of a joint “roadmap”.
