A delegation of Uzbekistan led by Laziz Kudratov, the Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade, held talks with Qatari government officials and business representatives during a visit to Qatar. The delegation also attended the 2026 World Investment Forum and a meeting of the Uzbekistan–Qatar intergovernmental commission.
The talks covered investment opportunities in mineral resource development, industrial cooperation, transport corridors and infrastructure projects under public-private partnerships.
The parties also considered options to finance promising initiatives, support women’s and youth entrepreneurship, and expand cooperation with international financial institutions.
The sides agreed on follow-up steps to develop investment proposals, strengthen business ties and put the agreements reached during the visit into practice.
