Fergana region and Indian state of Haryana developing interregional ties
Employees of the Embassy of Uzbekistan held negotiations with the head of the representative office of the Indian state of Haryana in Delhi, Dammu Suresh.
During the meeting, information was presented on the results of the reforms carried out in Uzbekistan in recent years, the developing international relations of our country in various fields, as well as the favorable environment created for the activities of foreign investors.
The Indian side expressed a great interest in proposals for investment projects being prepared for implementation in Uzbekistan and the range of finished products for export.
The parties noted with satisfaction that cooperation between the regions of the two countries has been developing dynamically in recent years.
In particular, during a working visit in 2022 by the delegation of the Fergana region to the state of Haryana, the foundation for relations between the two regions was laid. Today, representatives of various fields are contributing to strengthening interregional cooperation.
At the meeting, an exchange of views took place on the further development of interregional ties, in particular, on increasing the flow of investments, creating new joint ventures, increasing the volume of exports of products produced in Fergana, intensifying tourist exchange and other issues.
