Uzbekistan increases export of fruits and vegetables
In January-October 2023, Uzbekistan exported about 1.5 million tons of fruits and vegetables worth $951.3 million.
Compared to the same period last year, fruit and vegetable exports increased by 2.4% or 35 thousand tons, the Statistics Agency said.
During the reporting period, the main export markets for fruits and vegetables were Russia (39.9%), Pakistan (16.3%), Kazakhstan (11.3%), and China (9.7%).
Over the past ten months, Uzbekistan carried out trade relations with 198 countries and its foreign trade turnover amounted to $51 billion, which is 25.2% more than in the same period last year.
