Real estate sales down by 10% in October
The Center for Economic Research and Reforms (CERR) reported that real estate sales in Uzbekistan decreased by 10% in October. More than 51% of the real estate transactions in the country correspond to the city of Tashkent, Tashkent, Fergana and Samarkand regions.
The CERR analyzed the changes in the real estate market in its next review.
In October, real estate sales decreased by 10%, the number of sales transactions was 21 thousand compared to 23 thousand a month ago.
The volume of real estate sales decreased by 7% compared to last year. The highest rates of sales decline were recorded in Tashkent – 27%, Jizzakh – 19% and Syrdarya regions – 15%.
More than 51% of transactions related to real estate in Uzbekistan correspond to the city of Tashkent, Tashkent, Fergana and Samarkand regions.
In October, the average price of rent in Tashkent increased by 4.4% compared to $9.1 in September and amounted to $9.5 per square meter. In 10 out of 11 districts of the capital, an increase in the price of housing rent was noted.
In October, the average increase in the price of housing in the secondary market increased by 0.3% per square meter, since October last year, the price of secondary housing has increased by almost 20%.
