Uzbekistan to improve legal framework for tourist exchange with Mongolia
As part of his working visit to the UAE, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with the President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khürelsükh in Dubai.
According to the presidential press service, the parties discussed topical issues of further developing Uzbek-Mongolian relations of traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation.
Particular attention was paid to the practical implementation of the agreements reached at the high-level meeting in Samarkand in September last year.
The positive dynamics in mutual trade were noted with satisfaction. “There are ample opportunities and potential for cooperation in the fields of livestock farming, food, leather, agriculture, textiles and other industries,” the sides stressed at the meeting.
The parties expressed interest in improving the legal framework in such areas as road and air travel, tourist exchange, and strengthening interregional and cultural-humanitarian ties.
It was agreed to hold the first meeting of the joint Intergovernmental Committee and the Business Council next year.
Following the results of the meeting, the sides noted that a “road map” would be adopted for further expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation.
