Over 75 people suspected of committing a crime arrested in Fergana

96 crimes were detected and a number of representatives of the criminal world were caught within the framework of “Dolzarb 40 kunlik” special preventive measures in Fergana region.

According to the regional DIA, 50 wanted persons who committed a crime and hid from the law enforcement bodies were arrested. More than 25 people involved in the gang were arrested on the hooliganism.

5 kg 921 grams of narcotics, 414 pieces of psychotropic substances, 42 weapons, 221 ammunitions, 61 computers with various criminal materials, phones and prohibited religious literature were seized as material evidence during the events.

During an operative event in the Toshlok district, it was found out that a citizen illegally stored 8 combat hunting weapons, ammunition, 61 cartridges, 400 grams of gunpowder, and 140 5.6 mm caliber combat ammunition in his house.

On December 9, during events held by operatives, B. Khamidov (born in 1988), living in the city of Margilon, who was convicted under Articles 164, 165, 166 and 277 of the Criminal Code, a “criminal aggressor”, was also arrested. He inflicted serious injuries to a person and was hiding.
