France planning to establish a joint university in Uzbekistan
The issue of establishing the Uzbekistan-France University in Tashkent with the participation of the consortium of French higher education institutions is being considered.
A meeting of the delegation of Uzbekistan with the head of the international cooperation department of the French Ministry of Culture, Matthew Burton, was held in Paris.
Reportedly, during the conversation, the state of cooperation between Uzbekistan and France in the cultural-humanitarian sphere and the prospects for its development were discussed.
The parties emphasized the need to intensify cooperation in the implementation of joint projects achieved as a result of high-level visits.
The parties expressed mutual interest in continuing cooperation in the field of museum work and the training of specialists in the field of restoration of historical monuments.
In addition, the delegation of Uzbekistan held a meeting in Paris with the deputy director of the Department of International and European Cooperation of the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research, Manuel Bouard.
During the conversation, the state and prospects of cooperation in the field of education between the two countries were discussed.
In particular, the parties paid special attention to the activation of cooperation in the implementation of joint projects achieved during high-level visits.
The meeting also discussed the issue of establishing the Uzbekistan-France University in Tashkent with the participation of the consortium of French higher education institutions.
