Chinese investors to establish production of elevators in Andijan
Sinopharm will help organize the production of medicines in the region, including for export.

It is planned to open several new enterprises in the Andijan region together with China, the press service of governor Shukhrat Abdurakhmonov reported.
A delegation led by Abdurakhmonov arrived in China to negotiate with local businesses and discuss investment projects. One of the first points was a meeting with the management of Cashway Fintech from Tianjin.
The company is engaged in the production and maintenance of elevators, escalators, and ATMs. The parties agreed to open a joint workshop in Andijan for the production of elevators, the investment volume of which will amount to $30 million.
Then the guests from Uzbekistan visited the office of the international pharmaceutical company Sinopharm. The parties discussed with the company establishment of the production of medical products both to replace imports and for export.
Sinopharm’s partner in the project will be the local company Makro Farm Andijon. The agreement between the parties provides for the attraction of up to $50 million in investments for the implementation of the initiative.
