Strong dust storms hit Navoi region
Visibility is reduced to 40-50 meters.

The northern regions of the Navoi region are witnessing intense dust storms, according to the Hydrometeorological Service Agency.
It has been stated that due to strong winds prevailing in the northern areas of the Navoi region, dusty weather conditions persist. As a result, visibility has been reduced to 40-50 meters.
According to a Kun.uz source, similar dusty conditions are also being observed in the desert regions of the Bukhara region. This is leading to reduced visibility on the roads and is causing some difficulties for drivers.
Previously, it had been reported that between February 16 and 18, wind speeds in certain parts of the republic could reach 17–22 meters per second, and occasionally intensify up to 25–28 meters per second.
