Abdulla Aripov visits city of Kashgar
From February 29 to March 1 of this year, the delegation of the government of Uzbekistan visited the Chinese city of Kashgar.

Within the framework of the visit, on March 1, Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov held a bilateral meeting with the member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the secretary of the Party Committee of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, Ma Xinjui.
It was emphasized that the friendly and multifaceted partnership relations between Uzbekistan and China are developing at a high level, and the close, sincere and fraternal ties between the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of China Xi Jinping are of great importance.
In 2023, trade figures between Uzbekistan and China reached a record level – nearly $14 billion. It was noted that there are many untapped opportunities to increase this figure to $20 billion in the near future.
The issues of ensuring the implementation of high-level agreements, import of modern technology, equipment and export of textiles, copper, mineral fertilizers, agricultural and other types of products, further activation of transport-logistics, energy, cultural-humanitarian cooperation projects were discussed at the meeting.
