According to a review by the Center for Economic Research and Reforms, around 25,100 home sales transactions were recorded in August alone, 0.2% more than in August 2025.
Housing market activity peaked in March, when the number of transactions reached 43,500, before slowing in April and May. Monthly sales then stabilized at around 25,000–26,000 transactions in June and July, with a similar level recorded in August.
Six of Uzbekistan’s 14 regions recorded year-on-year growth in home sales in August. Tashkent accounted for around 7,400 transactions during the month, an increase of 2.2% compared with August 2025.
Since the beginning of the year, home sales in Tashkent have risen by 27.5%. Sales also increased significantly in Syrdarya region, where they were up 25.4%, and Andijan region, where they rose 23.8%.
The figures point to continued growth in Uzbekistan’s housing market despite the slowdown in monthly transaction volumes after the March peak.
