Flights between the cities will be operated every week – on Mondays, starting from April 1. The new flight is designed to increase tourist flow and simplify travel to the Russian southern regions for Uzbek citizens.
The route will be served by SSJ-100 aircraft. Travel time to Adler Airport will be about 3 hours 50 minutes.
In March 2023, Azimuth began direct flights between Sochi and Urgench. Flights on this route were operated every week on Wednesdays.
