Kazakh airline Qazaq Air to start regular flights from Turkestan to Samarkand
Qazaq Air has been granted permission to operate regular flights to Uzbekistan.

The Kazakh airline Qazaq Air has received authorization to perform regular flights to Uzbekistan, as announced by the Uzaviation agency's press service.
Following the intergovernmental agreement on air communication between the two countries, on March 13, the agency issued permission for regular flights on the Turkestan – Samarkand – Turkestan route to Qazaq Air.
The flights will be operated on DHC-8-402 aircraft.
According to the company's website, the first flight is planned for this March. Flights between the cities will be carried out twice a week, on Fridays and Sundays.
The price of a one-way ticket from Turkestan to Samarkand starts at $46, while the cost of a round-trip ticket on the Turkestan – Samarkand – Turkestan route starts at $94.
