Court verdict against “Salimboy” announced
Salim Abduvaliyev, known as “Salimboy”, was sentenced to 6 years in prison. He was found guilty of illegal possession of weapons.
The court verdict against Salim Abduvaliyev has been announced, a Kun.uz source reported.
At a court hearing in the Yashnabad district court of Tashkent, Salim Abduvaliyev was found guilty under Article 248 of the Criminal Code (Illegal trafficking in firearms, ammunition, main parts of firearms, explosives, explosives or explosive devices) and sentenced to 6 years in prison.
It is reported that the verdict was handed down presumably on March 19. But so far no official information has been received on this matter.
The source said that the cases of several more detainees during the campaign against crime in Tashkent have been transferred to court.
It should be recalled that 73-year-old businessman Salim Abduvaliyev was detained in early December 2023 on suspicion of illegal possession of firearms.
