Watermelon seller arrested in Tashkent for molesting a female customer
The man, being drunk, hugged an unknown woman and touched various parts of her body.
In Tashkent, a watermelon seller was prosecuted for committing acts of a sexual nature towards an unfamiliar woman, UzNews.uz correspondent reports.
According to the case file, on June 25, in the Chilanzar district, a 33-year-old watermelon seller, U.I., who was intoxicated, hugged an unfamiliar female customer and touched the lower back and buttocks, committing indecent acts.
At the court hearing, the man admitted his guilt and stated that he regretted what he had done and would not commit such actions again.
By a court decision, citizen U.I. was found guilty of committing offenses under Part 1 of Article 41-1 (Sexual harassment) and Article 194 (Failure to comply with legal requirements of an employee of internal affairs bodies) of the Administrative Responsibility Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, he was sentenced to 5-day administrative arrest and imposed a fine in the amount of 10 BCAs (3.4 million UZS).
