Uzhydromet: Content of fine PM 2.5 particles in Tashkent’s air did not exceed WHO recommendations
The Hydrometeorological Service Agency presented measurement data on air quality in the capital.
On March 23, 2024, according to data from automatic air monitoring stations at 09:00 in Tashkent:
• the content of fine particles PM 10 was 9.4 μg/m3, which did not exceed the maximum permissible concentration according to SanPiN 0293-11 (500 μg/m3);
• the content of fine PM2.5 particles was 4.0 μg/m3, which did not exceed the WHO recommendation (5 μg/m3);
• the content of carbon monoxide CO (emissions from motor vehicles and industrial enterprises) was 0.1 mg/m3, which did not exceed the maximum permissible concentration according to SanPiN 0293-11 (5 mg/m3).
