Shakhnoza Sultanova appointed deputy governor of Tashkent city
Shakhnoza Sultanova was appointed deputy governor of Tashkent – head of the Department for Family and Women’s Affairs, the press service of the capital’s administration reported.
Nodira Umarova, who held this position, was relieved of it due to her transfer to another job.
Shakhnoza Sultanova was born in 1982 in Tashkent. In 2003, she graduated from Tashkent State Agrarian University. Over the years, she held a number of responsible positions at this university.
Prior to her current appointment, she worked as executive director of the Belarusian-Uzbek Intersectoral Institute of Applied Technical Qualifications in Tashkent.
Earlier, Kun.uz reported about the appointment of Durdona Rakhimova as deputy governor of Tashkent for youth policy, social development and spiritual and educational work. She held this post in 2020-2022, then was Deputy Minister of Youth Policy and Sports.
