Uzbekistan, Qatar establish bilateral strategic partnership relations
Yesterday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani.

“We are pleased to announce that Uzbekistan and Qatar have taken an important step, raising bilateral relations to the status of a strategic partnership. Today in Tashkent, we have signed an Agreement to establish bilateral strategic partnership relations together with the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani,” the head of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry wrote on his Telegram channel.
It should be recalled that on April 15, the Qatari delegation led by the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Muhammad bin Abdulrahman Al Thani was received by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
For information, the Qatari delegation arrived in our country to participate in the summit of the foreign ministers of the countries of the Strategic Dialogue “Central Asia – Cooperation Council for the Gulf Arab States”.
