Chinese investors intend to construct a nearly $2 billion solar power plant in Akhangaran, as reported by the press service of the Tashkent regional administration.
Representatives of the Tashkent region's administration have returned from a trip to major provinces in China, where they reached preliminary agreements in the fields of electrical engineering, building materials production, textiles, healthcare, IT park creation, and the manufacture of porcelain and ceramic products.
In the Zangiata district, a diagnostic and wellness center may be constructed at a cost of $20 million, as well as a project in the public catering and catering sector worth $25 million.
Investors from China also showed interest in investing in Yangiyul. In the region, the launch of a small industrial zone, renovation of old houses, development of residential complexes, and creation of a garden were discussed.
Furthermore, in the Tashkent region, it is planned to carry out investment projects totaling $90 million for the production of pharmaceutical products, metal structures, artificial fiber, and threads.
