Rumors about detention of Yangikhayot district judge for bribery refuted
There were reports on social networks that a judge of the Yangikhayot district of Tashkent was allegedly detained while accepting a bribe, the press service of the Supreme Judicial Council issued an official comment.

It is noted that these messages are not true.
Citizen U.R., (temporarily unemployed), was detained by law enforcement agencies on May 1 upon receiving $1,000 in exchange for a promise to reduce the amount of fines in cases of administrative offenses considered by the Yangikhayot district court for criminal cases, through his acquaintances working in this court.
Appropriate legal proceedings are currently being taken.
