Qanot Sharq reschedules Tashkent — Prague flights for late May
The private airline had originally planned to launch flights to the Czech Republic from April 18.
Qanot Sharq has announced a new date for the launch of passenger flights between Tashkent and Prague.
The flights between the capitals of Uzbekistan and the Czech Republic are now scheduled to start on May 30. The flights will be operated weekly on Thursdays, following this schedule (local time for both airports):
- departure from Tashkent at 10:30, arrival in Prague at 14:30;
- departure from Prague at 16:00, arrival in Tashkent at 01:00.
As of the time of publication, ticket prices start from 4,448,853 UZS.
In February, Qanot Sharq announced April 18 as the start date for the air service. The airline's CEO, Moisey Pak, had identified the Czech Republic as a priority destination for establishing flight connections with Europe.
Negotiations for arranging the flight lasted over a year, noted Yaroslav Filip, the Director of Aviation Business at Prague Airport. In the first 12 months post-launch, the service is expected to attract at least 15,000 passengers.
