Uzbekistan dancer gains recognition at choreographic art “Dance-Fest Dubai-2024” competition-festival
The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Dubai, the management of the international creative project “Art in Motion”, in collaboration with the consulates of Kazakhstan and Russia, organized a major international competition-festival of choreographic art “Dance-Fest Dubai-2024”.
More than 200 participants from Uzbekistan, the United Arab Emirates, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria and Russia demonstrated their art and skill.
Consul General of Uzbekistan in Dubai Kamol Ikromov informed the festival participants about the rich history and culture of our country, comprehensive reforms and changes that have been rapidly implemented in recent years as part of the “New Uzbekistan” development strategy and the main directions of youth policy.
According to the results of the competition, the dancer of the state dance ensemble “Bahor” named after Mukarrama Turgunboyeva Muslima Makhmudova took 1st place in the Grand Prix category of folk dance solo.
The Kazakh ensemble “Oltyn Dan”, Russian dance groups “Pulsar”, “Baykal Idel” and “Rosinki Zabaykalya” took prizes in the categories of collective folk dance and modern choreography.
Participants and winning teams were awarded special souvenirs and certificates of honor prepared by the Consulate General and the organizers.
The event was attended by employees of diplomatic missions of foreign countries, compatriots in the UAE, media representatives and bloggers.
